A refrigerant is compressed, enabling the transfer of heat to the water in the Aquafficient Eco+ system, so you can enjoy water heated to up to 60°C. This convenient, and eco-friendly, air source water heater is the perfect solution to home energy efficiency and is up to two to three times more energy-efficient than a conventional water cylinder†, making this the perfect hot water cylinder replacement.

The Aquafficient Eco+ requires minimal maintenance. As an added benefit; a single 1.5 kW robust, titanium heating element is also built-in as a backup, meaning you will never be without hot water.

The table below shows an energy use comparison with a 210 litre water cylinder with a 3kW immersion heater. Switching to an Aquafficient Eco+ could reduce your energy use by a third.‡

The reduction in energy usage with the Aquafficient Eco+ is down to the ‘Coefficient of Performance’ (COP) of the unit, which means for every 1 unit of electricity you use, you receive at least 3+ units of heat

Just One Socket: The 13amp Water Heater

With a power requirement of less than 10amps, the Aquafficient Eco+ requires only a standard 13amp socket to install. This 13amp air to water heater unit also requires access to an external wall to install one single vent pipe to allow cool air to flow to the outside. The Aquafficient Eco+ electric air source water heater also contains an automatic anti-legionella disinfection system and the whole unit comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.******
