Reducing Energy Costs with Fischer: Introducing the ElektroStore: High Heat Retention Storage Heater.
Electric heating manufacturer Fischer is set to launch a new high heat retention dynamic storage heater, giving customers the ability to save up to 27% on energy costs compared to a standard storage heater.*
Fischer’s HHR ‘ElektroStore’ – How it Works.
Fischer’s HHR ElektroStore storage heaters work by charging overnight when the cost of electricity is much lower. They then adapt their heating output during the day based on the temperature of the thermostat and the level of heat stored in the heater. This ensures rooms are being heated both economically and efficiently. If a top-up of heat is required Fischer’s HHR storage heater comes equipped with an automatic boost function enabling the room to be kept at a comfortable temperature throughout the day.
This dynamic approach to heat storage results in significantly improved efficiency levels compared to conventional night storage heaters.
Hybrid Heating
Fischer has 75 years of knowledge and experience with electric heating. By using this wealth of knowledge, Fischer has devised a modern energy-efficient solution for customers which promises unrivalled comfort and warmth, minus the high costs
Fischer’s new ElektroStore HHR storage heater combined with Fischer’s 40mm HeatCore radiators allows the user ultimate control over their heating. By utilising both night and day rates of electricity, in the form of Economy 7 tariffs, the Elektrostore HHR and HeatCore duo provides customers with economical and efficient warmth and comfort.
Keith Bastian says:
“To get to net zero we need to begin heating homes with low carbon systems that can be installed in every home with minimal disruption. It is also vital that customers are not left worse off in terms of warmth and comfort. Unlike heat pumps, these systems can be retrofitted in all UK homes so mass adoption is realistic.”
Keith added:
“Giving customers the opportunity to utilise cheaper energy rates to do the heavy lifting with the ability to top up their heating when required will provide the foundations for a seamless transition to sustainable forms of heating. It’s not only about renewable energy but it needs to include renewable heating, only then we can achieve our climate change net zero targets.”
